Conceived as a prototypical accessory dwelling unit (ADU) for Los Angeles, Maisonet was an exercise in mass customization, adding style and flair to a simple design that would lend itself to easy transport and mass production offsite. Optimized to a typical LA lot size, the Maisonet ADU could fit in a variety of orientations and with different interior plans and roof profiles that could be adapted to accommodate rooftop solar or add an extra sleeping loft within.
