The Zendai Garden was a corollary of the Himalayas Museum, designed to occupy the foyer spaces leading from the ground to the museum and an adjacent theater. The scheme uses a variety of plants and growing conditions to create a dramatic indoor garden that would be unique within Shanghai. Programmatically, the planted components serve to tie the disparate elements together Рan art bookshop with promenade; wine bar; farm-to-table pop-up restaurant; a hydroponic farm, and a ticket kiosk with rooftop café.
